Sigma Alpha Iota is an International Music Fraternity that was founded in 1903 at the University School of Music in Ann Arbor, Michigan. It is an organization which promotes interaction among those who share a commitment to music. Sigma Alpha Iota has been a pioneer in supporting music education, performance, and composition in colleges, communities, the nation, and the world.
